Outside of being a caregiver I throughly enjoy culinary arts, I did a couple semesters at the iowa culinary institute but dropped out to take care of things at home, that being said I have taken nutrition classes and I would say I’m pretty alright at cooking (: I like to keep a positive outlook and I’d consider myself to be a master of silver linings. I enjoy watching people and learning new things, I believe there’s something to learn from everyone. I love animals and simple things of nature.
I build real connections with people, I understand that this is more then just a job. I also will enjoy this work and want to do something that’s fulfilling. I raised my sister from a young age, I’m very mature and have withstood trails. More recently I moved in and took care of my grandmother whom was facing a terrible 40 year long progressed alcohol addiction. I was born to take care of others honestly. I love to hear stories, I’m willing to listen to the client and find out what works best for them.

I worked at various jobs over the years but my favorite non-caregiving role was working for Los primos grill. We traveled to fairs and farmers markets and sold food out of a truck, I was able to meet so many people from all walks of life and connect with my crew like we were family. Working there was truly a blessing
