I was an elementary school teacher for 15 years where I mostly taught Kindergarten students. I absolutely loved everything about those young, eager minds that were full of excitement! There was never a dull moment! I’m a mom to 2 amazing teenagers and 3 crazy dogs. I enjoy trying new ideas for decorating my home that usually come from Pinterest. I’m a crafter at heart.
My younger sister passed away from Cystic Fibrosis when she was just 15 years old. I was only 18 at the time, however I had cared for her much of her life and watched her during some of the most difficult times, including up until the day she finally went to Heaven. I was always with her, helping give any medications or treatments daily. Throughout the years friends and family have needed assistance and I always helped if I could. However when my own grandmother passed it was like a repeat of my sister. I sat with her, cared for her, bathed her, fed her, and loved her unconditionally...until God took her. That is what we are called to do.
