I thoroughly enjoy tennis and exercise of all kinds in my free time. I also enjoy helping others with their tasks and daily needs. I find cleaning extremely calming and therapeutic. I feel I get the most done when I have a schedule or timeline to follow, but I work well with on the fly situations as well. I love working with new people and learning about them.
I am able to match my personality to who my patients need me to be. For example, if the person I care for needs someone who is kind but firm, I will do that. If they respond better to someone who meets their needs to make them happy, I got it covered. If they just need a listener and someone to predict what they need or potentially want, I am on it. I like to make people feel comfortable and secure. I have lots of experiences being a caregiver, as I would assist my grandmother in her care home business. I would aid with cooking, medication reminders, medication distribution, etc. My family also has members that are special needs and I am one of the primary support members to help take care of them. I have worked with and am comfortable working with feeding tubes, medication, bathing, dressing, etc. I have over a decades worth of experience. I find myself to be very happy and upbeat, but I know when it’s time for business. I like helping others and I believe that your work ethic says a lot about who you are as a person, so I like to give my best and my all.
