For two different long-term care insurance carriers, The Helper Bees has demonstrated incredible engagement and delaying of institutionalization. Below shows the results from our program after 20 months.
For one experimental population, we see as policyholder engagement increases, so too does a delay in institutionalization. This culminates in a massive 3-month delay prior to institutionalization among those populations who were the highest engaged, as compared to a control group.
When identifying the percentage of institutionalization, we see that The Helper Bees’ Care Concierge program is effective for claimants who have been on claim for all time points: fewer than 13 months all the way to over 2 years. As expected, the efficacy, as compared to control, shrinks as claims duration increases.
