The Helper Bees CEO In the Spotlight @ SXSW

March 5, 2018 in News

In The Spotlight: The Helper Bees are excited to announce that our CEO and co-founder Char Hu will be honored with this year’s SXSW Community Award. Char is being recognized for his “outstanding commitment to community service work that helps bridge the digital divide, impacts the community positively, and includes grassroots or hands-on organizing.”

We would love your support and attendance is free to the public! (Details and rsvp here).

What This Means To Us: As employees of The Helper Bees, we are grateful for the wisdom and leadership our boss exemplifies on a daily basis. He leads by example as demonstrated in the many remarkable organizations he touches. In the same spirit as Dewey Winburne (one of the original SXSW interactive founders and for whom this award is dedicated), Char and The Helper Bees work to bridge the digital divide and help those less fortunate, with knowledge, intuition, and innovation in aging-in-place technology. Leveraging this technology and commitment to the cause, we will continue to improve caregiver and senior engagement and provide a better customer experience for all long term care providers.

Thank You: We appreciate the recognition and highlighting Char’s efforts to improve the lives of people suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, and other dementias.

We hope to see you at the SXSW Community Service Awards Ceremony!
