What’s your favorite memory from your time with THB so far?

One of my favorite memories at THB is from the Project Daylight text messaging pilot, when a simple text brought a member’s unmet need to light. It was heartwarming to watch ideas turn into action as the team jumped in to help her, and to see how genuinely happy everyone was when her care was finally arranged. What stayed with me was that it wasn’t just a successful pilot, it was someone being heard and a team coming together because they cared. That moment made the purpose behind our work feel so real and reminded me why we do what we do.
What does our mission mean to you?

I wholeheartedly stand behind our mission. To me, “be the best” means not settling for simply offering support but making sure it reaches people when they need it, with care they can count on. Independence at home means preserving the comfort, routines, and choices that make life feel like your own. In my work in data analysis and engineering, that mission motivates me to look for ways we can do better, knowing that behind every number is a person whose everyday life matters. I’m proud that my work behind the scenes can help turn that commitment into meaningful support.

I’m usually the person behind the camera! I love travelling and photographing landscapes, and my ideal trip includes local food, hidden gems, and a little wandering without an itinerary. My favorite keepsakes are a fridge magnet and a picturesque photo from each place I visit. Since becoming a mom, there’s been less time for big adventures, but my little one’s moments and milestones have become my favorite things to capture.
What do you hope to accomplish at THB in the next year?

Over the next year, I want to push myself beyond solving one data problem at a time and get better at building solutions that keep working for the team. I’m excited to explore how AI can help us reduce repetitive work, spot where support is getting stuck, and turn good ideas into tools people actually use. Building those things alongside a team that genuinely cares about the people we serve is what makes that growth exciting to me. I want to look back and see not just what I learned or built, but how it helped us get closer to being the best at fulfilling support for independence at home.
