My favorite memory is forcing teammates to play The Mind and then them actually loving it. I should start selling it with a markup to coworkers. Playing spikeball during lunch breaks with Katherine and our mighty interns when we worked out of Danny’s house, while doggos were running around the house. We even played in summer, which was crazy and stinky. Then I love how that turned into playing at the new office — clearing out the desks and work areas to make room for play indoors. Or our pickleball outings. (See a pattern in these memories? Hehe)

I think it’s very rare that someone can say that, no matter who they are, where they live, or how old they are, the services and mission of their company are things they'll personally need and experience. Most people’s companies will only touch a certain group or type of person, but every single person on this planet has someone they care about who will get older and need help (including themselves). Pair “this touches every human” with “this is actually helpful and impactful for that human,” and that’s an almost impossible match. What a privilege to work with such an opportunity to impact other humans.

Not caregiving personally, but I've had close experiences with my grandparents in the past 1.5 years. I’ve lost four grandparents in the last 1.5 years, and my firsthand account is largely driving the product member experience and care management vision.

I'm big into “flow state.” Specific ways I love to achieve “flow” are surfing, mountain biking, puzzles, boxing, and most recently, making toddler clothes and skateboarding. Personal motto: “less talk, more action!” Things I nerd out about: Excel tricks, clever humor, physics, and college football. My favorite spots to be are Oahu and Montana.
