What’s your favorite memory from your time with THB so far?
My Sacrifice - Creed
There are way too many for me. More generally, when I talk to team members who are so positive about what the company and mission mean to them, and how they're thinking about improving the way we deliver that mission, that is so impactful on me. Especially when it's in an area where I can see how our service delivery has matured beyond what even I could have envisioned. Seeing people take something that is a concept and make it work at scale, then have passion about that work, is really one of life's best feelings.
What does our mission mean to you?
It means everything. It's why I devote almost all of my free time and brain space to trying to raise the probability, no matter how small, that we are successful.
Many of our team members have been caregivers themselves. Do you have a personal experience with caregiving? If so, please share your story.
The Only Thing - Sufjan Stevens
My experience with caring for my maternal grandmother, PoPo, is the reason all of this exists.
The Bees are an interesting bunch of people. Tell us something cool about you!
People I work with always find this surprising given how I dress, but I love the outdoors (specifically all kinds of fishing). The more remote and rustic the better.
What do you hope to accomplish at THB in the next year?
I want us to unlock a new phase of consistent growth. We tend to grow in on-and-off years, and I want that to smooth out.
Which THB Slack channel is your favorite?
I love all of the Coffee Metrics channels, but I really love #consumer-portal-sign-up-stream, which shows me all of the sign-ins and orders from our CoPo teams. It's fun to see it in real time.
