I can recall our first year doing MA business. We received 138 referrals ALL year and were excited about it! We knew we had a chance to make an impact on the lives of even more older adults. Fast-forwarding to today, when we see that many referrals come in within a few hours every day, it's incredibly exciting to know our work is impacting the lives of tens of thousands of older adults across the entire U.S.!
I had the distinct privilege of caring for my father-in-law in our home after a surgery several years ago. He was a very proud man who only allowed his wife to take care of him, but in the scenario he was in, he needed help moving around for several days.
I love camping with my sons! I also like to exercise and read.
I hope we are able to reduce the amount of time it takes for new homecare services referrals to start receiving care to less than 5 days.
