Two moments stand out to me: • Seeing the impact we have. I love hearing stories from members who were connected with someone they needed, especially when it’s someone they may not have been able to access without THB. Hearing the happiness and relief in their voices over the phone is incredibly meaningful. • Talking with members who are excited to hear from us, and hearing them share a fond memory with me. Those conversations are always special and remind me how personal and important our work is.
I care deeply about helping people age in place with dignity, comfort, and happiness. I’ve seen firsthand how challenging it can be to navigate care at home, from finding the right support to making it affordable. If we have the opportunity to make a positive difference in someone’s life, we should. THB gives us that opportunity every day, and I believe we can continue improving the support we provide to members, providers, and partners. Home is important and powerful. When someone feels safe and comfortable there, they deserve the chance to remain there, and I believe THB will continue championing that.
I’ve wanted to care for others for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for family members and studied social work so I could support others. I’ve also worked as an advocate in safe houses, supporting youth and providing around-the-clock care. Each of those experiences has reinforced how meaningful it is to help people feel safe, supported, and cared for.
I love music, nature, and animals. My two kids and three pets keep me busy, but attending live shows is one of my favorite ways to spend my free time!
I hope to continue improving the employee learning experience. The Learning and Development department is fairly new, but we have so many opportunities to build employees’ confidence, knowledge, and happiness. In turn, that can make a meaningful difference for our members, providers, and partners. I’m excited to continue creating learning experiences that help our employees feel prepared, supported, and empowered to do their best work.
