I believe my caring heart, my love for people, and my outgoing personality make me unique. I started as a young girl visiting the nursing homes and singing with the church. I then became a CNA and then pursued becoming a Medical Assistant.
I’ve always had the urge to help. What got me started was when one of my family members was not being care for properly. That is when i decided I wanted to join home health care after high school. I knew that I would be trustworthy and families would not have to experience what my family endured. I want to give families comfort knowing that their loved one is in great hands. I love everything about it.
I’ve always been told i have a kind spirit and I would be good in the health care field, so I’ve chosen this profession. I couldn’t be happier with my choice.
I was 10 years old when my mom diagnosed with breast cancer. They gave her 6 months to live. I watched my sister and my aunts take care of her; they were all CNA’s and nurses. I knew then that I wanted to go into the medical field. What I love most about being a medical assistant, is making a difference and giving my patients the best quality care by making sure they are comfortable.
I treat people they way I want to be treated which is love, kindness, compassion and honesty. I enjoy caregiving as I started helping my grandparents when I was just 12 years old.
I love to take care of people and be such an important aspect in their lives.
